JOHN T. DACE
JUDGE

MY SINCEREST THANKS TO THE COMMITTEE FOR THEIR INVITATION TO JUDGE THE OPEN SHOW. INEVITABLY THE NORTHERN HOSPITALITY WAS IN ABUNDANCE AND SPECIAL THANKS TO THE STEWARDS (DIANNE AND SHARON) FOR THEIR HELP & SUPPORT THROUGHOUT THE DAY. SPECIAL THANKS ALSO TO JOYCE MARTIN FOR THE EXCELLENT ARRAY OF PHOTOGRAPHS LAST BUT NOT LEAST MANY THANKS TO THE EXHIBITORS FOR THEIR GENEROUS ACCEPTANCE OF MY DECISIONS.
THE EXHIBITS WERE, IN THE MAIN, OF GOOD QUALITY IF IN A FEW CASES SPOILT BY LACK OF PRESENTATION.
MY CONCERNS WERE MAINLY ON MOVEMENT AND IN A FEW CASES EXHIBITS WERE = IN MY OPINION – LACKING IN WEIGHT. MOUTHS & DENTITION WERE GOOD WITH A FEW LEVEL BITES. I WAS PLEASED WITH MY MAIN WINNERS WHICH I FEEL ADEQUATELY MEET THE BREED STANDARD.
