Stolen Puppy Recovered
Some excellent news for Denise Stone, the dog puppy which was stolen from her home in April has been recovered; unfortunately there is no news of the bitch which was stolen at the same time.
The puppy had been found near the South coast and was taken by a dog warden to some kennels in the area. Luckily the kennel owner was also an exhibitor in another breed and recognised that this was rather a nice Border and made enquiries regarding the possibility of it being a stolen dog, at the same time the staff in the warden’s office also spotted a similar puppy reported stolen on the internet; all this resulted in Denise being contacted and she was able to identify the puppy. Praise must go to the kennel owner and the dog warden for taking the time and trouble to look into this.
The 2 year old bitch which is still missing is a dark grizzle and has two chipped canine teeth.
